How to do long multiplication

Example for long division:
In this article let me help you with how to do long multiplication
Example for long division:
Divide 69 by 3 using long division method.
Step 1: First we should change the way and write the problem. Then we take the first number from the dividend and do the division process.
3) 69 (2
Here in this step we should analyze how many times 3 will go to six. Here when 3 is multiplied with three we get the answer 6.
Step 2: Then we multiply 3 with 2 we get 6 then we should subtract this answer with the first digit of the dividend.
3) 6 9 (2
- 6
_____
0
Step 3: In this step we bring the next digit of the dividend down i.e. we bring 9 to down which is written as, This could also help us on how to find a percentage of a number
3) 6 9 (2
- 6
_____
0 9
Step 4: Here we see that with which the number 3 gives the answer 9. Then we should do the multiplication.
3) 6 9 (23
- 6
_____
0 9
Step 5: Then we subtract the second digit of the dividend with the 9.
3) 69 (23
- 6
_____
0 9
9
______
0 0
Hence we get the answer 23. This is the process of long division.
